GEOTECHNICAL AND GEOLOGICAL RESEARCH

Ģeotehniskā / ģeoloģiskā izpēte ir pakalpojums, pēc kura bieži rodas nepieciešamība objektu realizēšanas gaitā. Lai nebūtu jāpiesaista apakšuzņēmēji, AS “Ceļuprojekts” nodrošina ne tikai projektēšanas, bet arī saistīto nozaru pakalpojumus, tostarp ģeotehnisko izpēti, ģeoloģisko izpēti un topogrāfisko uzmērīšanu. Uzņēmumā ir sertificēti darbinieki, ģeotehniskās izpētes darbu veikšanai nepieciešamā tehnika, kā arī ģeotehniskā laboratorija.

  • Geotechnical research for transport structures (motor roads, streets, bridges, overpasses, viaducts, tunnels, airport runways, parking lots).
  • Geotechnical research for civil structures (multi-storey and low-rise office, public, residential and industrial buildings, villages with detached houses, petrol stations, biogas cogeneration stations, sports grounds, fish and fire ponds, etc).
  • Geotechnical research for engineering communication objects (water supply and sewerage networks, power supply substations, mobile communication masts and towers, etc).
  • Geotechnical research for the development of a detailed spatial planning and other types of objects.
  • Geotechnical calculations (calculations for mutual comparison, selection and recommendations for foundation types; estimates of foundation structures, calculations of pile load-bearing capacity).
  • Geological research of building materials and their raw materials - sand, sand - gravel, dolomite, gypsum and clay, as well as sapropel, peat and other mineral deposits for obtaining mineral deposit passports and extraction limits from the State Environmental Service.
  • Geological research of surface water bodies (ponds, water bodies), if in the course of their construction the extraction of mineral deposits is envisaged.
  • Development of mineral deposit extraction and recultivation designs.
  • Calculation and inventory of mineral resources remaining in the deposit (quarry).

The following methods are used in the research work:

Drilling and sampling:

  • rotary drilling with a core to the depth of up to ~50 m;
  • rotary drilling with a twist drill (auger) to the depth of ~50 m;
  • vibratory drilling with a ground bar to the depth of ~10 m;
  • sampling of subsoil and rocks of undisturbed and disturbed structure with ground drills, twist drills and crown drills for determination of physical and mechanical properties of subsoil in the laboratory.

Subsoil area (in-situ) research methods:

  • Static probing (CPT/CPTu) with or without pore pressure measurement to the depth of up to ~ 40 m
  • Probing with a flat (Marchetti) dilatometer for determination of high-precision deformation modulus and additional parameters to the depth of up to ~ 30 m
  • Dynamic probing with light (DPL), medium (DPM) and heavy weight (DPSH) methods to the depth of up to ~30 m
  • Standard penetration probing (SPT) in boreholes with a depth of up to ~35 m
  • Determination of shear resistance (FVT) with a vane in weak subsoils to the depth of up to ~10 m
  • Determination of the California bearing ratio (CBR) of road and street component layers
  • Determination of load-bearing capacity and compaction parameters (Ev2 and Evd) of road and street component layers with static plate equipment and light falling weight deflectometer
  • Pressuremeter tests to determine the modulus of elasticity to the depth of up to ~50m

GEOTECHNICAL LABORATORY

Papildus izpētes darbiem piedāvājam ģeotehniskās laboratorijas pakalpojumus.

AS “Ceļuprojekts” Ģeotehniskā Laboratorija izveidota 2014. gadā. 2015. gadā tās pakalpojumi grunts un minerālmateriālu fizikālo un mehānisko īpašību testēšanas jomā tika akreditēti VA “Latvijas Nacionālais akreditācijas birojs” (LATAK Nr. T-520).

The existence of our own laboratory allows to perform a complex of geotechnical and geological research works in a timely manner and in a controlled quality. The laboratory has modern equipment and instruments that ensure accurate measurements and obtainment of high-quality data.

We offer the following laboratory testing methods:

Testing of physical properties of subsoil and mineral materials:

  • Granulometriс composition
  • Natural humidity (water content)
  • Atterberg limits (plasticity and consistency parameters)
  • Maximum density and optimal humidity (Proctor test)
  • Organic matter content
  • Filtration coefficient
  • Particle density, bulk density, etc

Testing of mechanical properties of subsoil and mineral materials:

  • Compressibility and consolidation parameters (Oedometer test)
  • Angle of shearing resistance and internal friction and shear resistance (Direct shear test)
  • Supporting capacity and compaction (Static plate test)

Testing of building materials:

  • Los Angeles coefficient
  • Magnesium sulphate index
  • Flatness or shape index
  • Proportion of crushed and broken surfaces

How to find us

AS "Ceļuprojekts" building place is easy to find - Riga, Jugla around 400m away from the Brivibas Street. At the entrance courtyard to the street Murjanu placed in a large, easily visible indication. Parking is free.
